Artist Bio: Shelly Bahl is a visual artist based in New York City, USA, and Toronto, Canada. Bahl received her B.F.A. from York University, Toronto and her M.A. (Studio Art) from New York University. Her interdisciplinary work has appeared in a number of solo and group exhibitions in North America and internationally. Her projects in 2003/ 04 include a number of international group exhibitions, as well as solo shows at the Richmond Art Gallery, Vancouver; Gallery 44, Toronto; M.Y. Art Prospects, New York; Khyber Centre For the Arts, Halifax, NS; Gallery 198, London, UK; and Centre A, Vancouver, BC. In the past year, she has also participated in group exhibitions at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India; Matucana 100, Santiago, Chile; BosePaciaModern Gallery, New York; M.Y. Art Prospects, New York; Centre M.A.I., Montreal; Open Studio, Toronto; and the Rotunda Gallery, Brooklyn.
